Sara Assabayeva

Professor Sara Assabayeva is the Head of the Piano department. She was awarded the “Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “Honorary worker of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “Honored worker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

Sara Assabayeva graduated from Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, studied and mentored by National artist of the Russian Federation Professor V. K. Merzhanov. She constantly performs solo, in duet with National artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aiman Mussakhodzhayeva and as a soloist of the State Chamber Ensemble “Academy of soloists” on world famous stages all over the world (USA, Brazil, Canada, Italy, France, Austria, Chine, Macedonia, Russia, Ukraine, Egypt, etc.) and in Kazakhstan.

Professor Assabayeva performs with a lot of famous artists, such as National artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurzhamal Usenbayeva, “Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan” Azamat Zhyltyrkozov, “Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan” Askar Duisenbayev, and young talented musicians.

Being a famous teacher, Sara Assabayeva gives master-classes and qualification development courses in Kazakhstan and abroad. She is a jury member of a lot of international and Kazakhstani musical competitions. Many of her students are the winners of prestigious musical contests and actively give concerts.
