Alibek Kabdurakhmanov Named Artistic Director of the 7th Eurasian Stars International Music Festival

The 7th Eurasian Stars International Music Festival, set to return to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in 2025, will be guided by the artistic vision of its newly appointed Artistic Director, Alibek Kabdurakhmanov. A native of Tashkent, Alibek Kabdurakhmanov brings decades of expertise to his new role. As the chief conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan since 2018, Kabdurakhmanov has been at the forefront of Uzbekistan's classical music scene, earning accolades both domestically and internationally. His contributions to numerous prestigious festivals, such as the International Contemporary Music Festival "Turbulence" and the Moscow Autumn Festival, underscore his global perspective and innovative approach to programming.
