State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan
Founded in 2014, the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan brings together the country’s most gifted and promising musicians, including laureates of national and international competitions as well as graduates of the Uzbekistan State Conservatory. In 2018, the ensemble was awarded the prestigious E’tirof State Prize as “Orchestra of the Year.”
The orchestra maintains an active presence both at home and abroad, with extensive tours across the United States, Latvia, Central Asia, Kuwait, South Korea, Turkey, Qatar, and China. It has performed at special concerts for heads of state during SCO summits, at official national celebrations, and continues to serve as an important cultural ambassador for Uzbekistan.
Its repertoire is distinguished by remarkable breadth, ranging from the great masterpieces of the classical tradition (Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky) to contemporary works, popular music, and the rich heritage of Uzbek national music. Beyond concert performance, the orchestra organizes international festivals such as Rachmaninoff Evenings and plays an active role in charitable and educational initiatives.
