About the Festival

The Eurasian Stars International Music Festival returns to Tashkent in 2026 for its eighth edition, presenting eight concerts at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Grand Theatre from the 10th to the 19th of October. Bringing together internationally renowned soloists, distinguished orchestral musicians, and Uzbekistan’s most important cultural institutions, the festival continues its mission of celebrating classical music as a meeting point between cultures and traditions that transcends borders and boundaries.

At the heart of the 2026 edition will be the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, appearing as Orchestra-in-Residence. Across the festival’s programme, the orchestra will be joined by a remarkable line-up of acclaimed performers, including violinists Sergei Dogadin and Haik Kazazyan, cellists István Várdai, Steven Isserlis, Edgar Moreau, and Alexander Ramm, amongst many others.

Led by its President, Konstantin Ishkhanov, and Artistic Director Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, this latest iteration of Eurasian Stars will be held within the historic setting of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Grand Theatre, and promises to offer audiences a rich and varied musical experience, combining virtuoso performances with the depth and emotional power of the classical repertoire. Each concert will serve as a distinct artistic encounter, bringing together leading international musicians and Uzbek musical excellence on one of the country’s most prestigious stages.

As it enters this new chapter in its short yet rich history, Eurasian Stars reaffirms its place as one of the region’s most significant classical music festivals, reflecting Tashkent’s growing role as a vibrant centre for international cultural exchange and artistic collaboration.
